Police have confirmed the victim tied to the Luka Magnotta murder case is the same person the Consulate General of China has identified as missing.
29 year old Magnotta is wanted for the gruesome killing in which the victim was cut into pieces and body parts were sent through the mail to the Conservative party of Canada's headquarters.
China's COnsulate General in Montreal says 33 year old Lin Jun arrived in Montreal in July of 2011 and lost contact with his family members and friends last week on May 24th.
A police source confirmed to a Montreal newspaper yesterday evening that Lin is the victim in the case and that he was a student at Concordia University in Montreal.
