The public will get a chance this week to weigh-in on the holiday shopping debate.
The Economic Development department is looking at re-vamping its current bylaws.
As it stands, stores must close on 9 holidays inclucing Christmas Day and Canada Day, unless they fall under the category of designated tourist area.
Consultation sessions begin Monday evening at the North York Civic Centre.
