An early morning auto theft led Toronto Police on a high speed chase.
Around 4:30 Wednesday morning, a man and woman stole a van parked near a bank at St. Clair & Dufferin, while the owner was inside at an ATM.
Police officers chased the car onto the 401, where speeds hit more than 130km/h at times, before it was called off for safety reasons.
A male occupant fled the vehicle, which was then stopped near the Finch & Keele area leading to the arrest of the female driver.
The man, is still sought by police.
