For the third time this year, Toronto has been blanketed under a thick sheet of heat.
The city's Medical Officer of Health, has issued yet another extreme heat alert for Toronto, as temperatures climb towards 33 degrees or more.
Under an extreme heat alert, city run pools extend their operating hours, while a number of cooling centres open up.
All civic centres will be open until the evening, with Metro Hall open 24 hours.
