A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is now in effect for the GTA.
Thunderstorms and heavy downpours have hit most of the GTA with Northern Toronto being hit the most.
Expect rainfall between 60 to 88 mm and even possibly hail.
An ealier heat alert for the city has been cancelled.
