Peel Regional Police have now issued an arrest warrant, following a personal injury collision in Mississauga.
Around 8:15 Tuesday night, officers were pursuing a suspect, who was able to flee.
The suspect, 26 year old Jerome Jackson, then struck a pedestrian on Absolute Ave., in the Hwy 10 & Burnhamthorpe area, sending them to hospital in serious condition.
Jackson was last seem driving a black 2007 Lincoln MKX, plate number BNBA718.
The suspect, is described as black, 5'8, with a heavy build and a beard, and faces numerous charges, including Fail to Remain and Flight from Police.
The SIU continues to look into the collision, given that police were present when a civilian was injured.
