Nestled underneath the Richmond & Adelaide Street ramps, Toronto's latest park has opened up.
Underpass Park is the latest addition to the developing West Don Lands area, bring in a skate park, climbing equipment, and another passageway between condos, and the soon-to-be developed Athletes Village.
The park was built with a commitment from all three levels of government, and transforms previously dead space into a function space for residents.
Mayor Ford was on hand for the event, where he said "(the park) is a great example of how you can take a space that was neglected and turn it into a nice place for people and families to enjoy".
