Much like the Family Day holiday, the August Civic holiday is littered with closures and reduced hours, but not for all businesses.
Some LCBO and Beer Store locations will remain open, along with most major shopping centres, including the Eaton Centre, Vaughan Mills and Yorkdale.
Grocery stores will keep the open signs lit up, same with attractions like the ROM, zoo, and tourist areas like Queen's Quay and Yonge Street.
Government offices like banks, post offices and libraries will be closed.
TTC and GO Transit will be on a holiday or Sunday schedule.
