It’s that time of year again for costumes, giant floats, soca music and dancing.
The Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival will be taking place today along the Lake Shore from 10am until 6pm.
About one million people are expected to be in attendance including visitors from all over and approximately 15,000 masqueraders will make their way along the three-and-a-half kilometer route.
Both directions of Lake Shore Blvd. are closed between Colborne Lodge Drive and Strachan Avenue for the parade and will reopen at 6am Sunday morning.
