More than 4 million Bumbo seats are being recalled in Canada and the United States.
The U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission says it has received 34 reports of children falling out of the seat with over 21 cases involving infants suffering skull fractures.
Health Canada said nearly 342,000 seats have been sold in Canada.
Parents are asked to stop using the seat immediately and to contact the company for a free restraint belt.
