Slipknot Frontman Weds For A Second Time
LaunchDaily
11/17/2009

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor was married for the second time on Friday (November 13th) in Las Vegas, according to People.com. Taylor tied the knot with Stephanie Luby at the Palms Hotel, where 350 guests packed the Pearl Concert Theater to watch the wedding party walk down the aisle to Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls." Among the guests were Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro, Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath and Camp Freddy bassist Billy Morrison, who also served as the minister.

Taylor's first marriage to Scarlett ended in divorce in early 2007 after three years. He told us a while back that although it was a painful time in his life, he emerged a better person: "Anytime you have change like that, it's going to affect you and it's going to hurt. But with every breath you take, you let a little more of it go, and you accept it for what it is, you accept that without that time in your life, you would not be where you are now."

The 35-year-old Taylor has two children, a 17-year-old daughter named Angie and a seven-year-old son with Scarlett named Griffin.

Now that Slipknot is finished touring for the year, Taylor will begin work on a new Stone Sour album and continue to write and play music with his other side project, the Junk Beer Kidnap Band.
