The Black Keys have not only provided a theme song for the NCAA's March Madness, but now they're participating in the festivities surrounding the Final Four. According to Audio Ink Radio, the indie rock duo will perform this Saturday (March 31st) at the 2012 Big Dance Concert Series in New Orleans, in conjunction with the NCAA Men's Final Four games happening that weekend. Kiss and Jimmy Buffet will also headline the free three-day festival, which is set to take place March 30th through April 1st at Woldenberg Park in New Orleans.
The event, a production of the NCAA and Turner Sports, will also feature performances from Blondie, the Avett Brothers, Dr. John, Cowboy Mouth and others. The schedule will be available soon via the NCAA's official website.
The Keys allowed their latest single, "Gold On The Ceiling," to be used as the musical theme for this year's NCAA March Madness college basketball tournament. The song has been heard on four networks -- TBS, CBS, TNT and TruTV -- since the tournament kicked off.
The Black Keys are currently between legs of their first-ever headlining tour of U.S. arenas. Following the NCAA weekend and the Coachella festival in mid-April, the band will resume its tour on April 22nd in Frisco, Texas.
