Redlight King has released the full-length music video for "Comeback," the band's single from Avengers Assemble, the soundtrack to the blockbuster movie The Avengers. The full-length clip features more footage from the film than the initial teaser did last month, while also incorporating more scenes of the band itself performing. In addition to "Comeback," the Avengers Assemble album features new or previously unreleased material from Soundgarden, Bush, Evanescenceand others.
Redlight King frontman Kaz told us that he was more excited about the lineup of artists on the record than the film itself when his band got a chance to be on the soundtrack: "I think the band was first and foremost stoked about the soundtrack itself. Soundgarden and Evanescence and Rise Against and Buckcherry and -- just an awesome list of bands that I'm also a big fan of, so to be in that list is an honor and that was exciting for me. I can't say I'm a huge Marvel fan, but I'm into the project and I'm excited that, you know, we have something to do with it."
Redlight King kicked off a new round of tour dates this week, with the band stopping in Lubbock, Texas on Thursday (June 7th). The bulk of the summer trek is with Saving Abel and extends into late July.
Redlight King will also appear this August and September on the second stage of the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival.
The Los Angeles-based act is touring in support of its 2011 debut album, Something For The Pain, which features the recent Top 10 rock radio hit, "Bullet In My Hand."
