Are you an emerging artist? Are you searching for a great place to show off your work? Have your art displayed at Edgefest!
We are looking for large-scale, unique and interesting sculptural installations which push the boundaries of traditional art. There are no limits in terms of scale – we want art that compliments the size and energy of Edgefest itself.
Building materials can be anything that stretches the imagination. Exciting works that are also low-budget or eco-friendly are welcome, as well as any video or light installations. Works that are interactive or encourage audience participation are recommended.
We hope for this exhibition to represent the diversity and community spirit of contemporary Canadian art.
If you’re selected, you will get four tickets to Edgefest, free parking, and an awesome spot to display your work! You will be contacted ASAP to inform you that you have been accepted.
Application deadline is Friday June 5, 2009.

Cancer Bats have been added to the Edgefest '09 lineup!
The band will be fresh off a headlining tour in the UK and ready to come back home for Edgefest. They last played Edgefest in 2006 at the Molson Amphitheatre.
This brings the total number of bands to 18 - performing at Downsview Park on Saturday, June 20th. Fan favourite Billy Talent will be headlining, rocking the main stage.

The Canada Forest is the jewel in the Tree City Design for Downsview Park. Intended to reflect the beauty of the Canadian landscape, the Canada Forest is one of the defining characteristics of the country's newest urban green space.

The Fast Pass tickets for Edgefest '09 have sold out!
Fast Pass ticket holders will bypass the lines and enter at a separate gate at Downsview Park on June 20th.
You can still take advantage of the special early bird pricing of $39.50 for a limited time.
The Inside Edge Presale is on until Friday February 27th at midnight and the regular on-sale happens on Saturday, Febraury 28th at 10am.
