Brian Cox and the Large Hadron Colider
"This is a bit dated, the Large Hadron Colider has since been turned on and shut down and I'm pretty sure they're about to turn it on again, but the things Brian Cox says here are awesome.
I find it hard to be negative when people so much smarter than me are so positive. If you haven't spent time meandering through ted.com then you should. Very smart people talking about very smart things."

"A lot of people complained about this today. But I'd be a bit more offended by people selling commemorative plates about 9/11 than anything like this.
I suppose it's OK to turn a blind eye to people making money off a tragedy."

V for Vendetta is my #2
"I'm unpacking and decided to take a break when I pulled V for Vendetta out of a box. I remember when I saw this in theatres and got goosebumps during this scene.
The funniest thing I remember about it's release was FoxNews losing it saying that it was a sad state of affairs when a movie glorifying a terrorist was number one at the box office.
Yet if you asked the British in the 1700's the entire US was founded by terrorists. Ah history, a collection of lies and syphilis.
