I was born and raised in the corrupt town of Newmarket, Ontario which alone has made me the rebel that I am today. Ok, rebel may be exaggerating… but thanks to good old Newy I can kill anyone in a game of flip cup! No… seriously.

Late night projects, procrastination and zero sleep in the Radio Broadcasting program at Fanshawe College helped to get me where I am today. After waitressing for a year (and making some killer cash money), I was hired as the mid-day host for a radio station in Fort St. John, B.C. For ten months I was a small town gal before moving to the big city of Toronto in attempt to harass my way into the awesomeness that is The Edge.

Now that I’m here, I’m totally stoked to have you get to know me… here are a few things you may want to keep in mind:

- My name is not spelled with an ‘e’ on the end like most Melani’s… never has, never will be

- I am obsessed with word games and watch Wheel of Fortune every night at 7pm sharp

- I am freakishly good at Karaoke

- I am really girly, so girly that most people are surprised at how well I can rock out… especially to metal (it’s my fav)

- I’ve been able to quote Seinfeld since I was ten… it’s the greatest sitcom ever

Most importantly, I live for music. So let’s listen to some tunes and chill out together late nights on 102.1 The Edge.

Be in touch my friends!
