I love the White Stripes, but my favourite riff (actually an intro riff) would have to be from Death From Above, 1979. Romantic Rights

Although there are many many great riffs that I could pick out that have been played on the Edge over the years there really is only one that stands out. Maybe it's because it's one of those songs that brings me back to the simpler times of high school, or maybe it's just a kickass tune. Either way I'd have to give my vote to Today by the Smashing Pumpkins. It's one of their biggest hits and one of the most recognizable riffs of the 90's, it's also one of the first songs that I ever learned to play on my guitar

Definitely Muse! Best band ever. Of the stuff the Edge plays, the Uprising solo is pretty solid, but you guys need to play some of their older stuff! I think Edge listeners could handle the overwhelmingly awesomeness of New Born, Knights of Cydonia, or Hysteria. Great riffs in those songs too.

Hmmmm so many choices. I'm gonna have to go with a classic comeback in Slash. Most notably "Ghost" Feat. Ian Astbury and "Back From Cali" Feat. Myles Kennedy. Both are true rock n' roll treats with very cool riffs!

hi Josie, missed the first 6 songs on your countdown, so not sure if you featured any songs from these four bands, but for guitar riffs I believe these bands should have also been included: Tool (h, Jambi), Metallica (enter sandman or One), Tea Party (River, Sister Awake...), and Rush (tom sawyer, working man, ...)
