Wait... Coldplay over Muse and Oasis and The Clash?! That's pretty much the only flaw in the list.

Josie: I really enjoyed listening to your UK top 20 this morning, but was very surprised not to see The Smiths on your list. A definite oversight, I think!

Did I hear you correct-did you say that u2 are from Belfast and that this would exclude them from your list because Belfast is NOT in Northern Ireland and thus NOT part of the UK? u2 are not from Belfast, they are from Dublin (which does exclude them) and Belfast is the capital and largest city in Northern Ireland. So UNLESS i misheard you, you are wrong on both counts.

U2 are NOT from Belfast and it's not "dePECHE Mode".

No Bush...? Sixteen Stone was a solid album for the 90's...

Where are The Smiths? And weren't Madness Britts too? Another question for the powers that be at Corus/CFNY: Why is Josie Dye doing these lists? It should be someone a little more clever, like Alan Cross, Bookie, or Fearless. All are entertaining, quick witted, musicophiles. Josie should stick to her usual brain numbing banter.

I've lived in Britian for 12 years and my mind is boggled as to why Pendulum are not even on your playlist. Seems to me you've lost "the edge" on "new music.

Coldplay should be dropped below the Sex Pistols, they don't hold a candle to those bands especially the Clash or Radiohead
