Colton Eddy is a producer and content programmer on CBC Radio 2’s The Strombo Show and he also works as a freelance music journalist, contributing to Huffington Post, CHARTattack, Exclaim! and AUX, among others. Formerly a producer and researcher on CBC Television’s George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, his interest in the exploration of the musical realm began with cold calls to request songs on CFNY, back when covering The Darkness was cool (it still is). He’ll willingly debate the enduring importance of that town in north Ontario to the checker-board floors of the Horseshoe Tavern, especially if it involves a cold beer and sharing records.
