It’s the end of week 3 in the Big Brother house and the Summer of Temptation has given us a lot to talk about! I got a chance to ask Cody some questions post eviction, but before we get into that, let’s recap.
This week, despite being safe, BB veteran Paul won the HOH competition and put the revenge plan to backdoor Cody in motion. He first nominated Alex and Josh, risking the chance that Cody could himself, win the Power of Veto.
That wasn’t all though! Since Ramses got cursed with the Den of Temptation, he was forced to put himself up on the block as a third nominee. He had three weeks to decide when to reveal his curse, and thought this was his best bet at being safe.
Luckily for Paul, Cody’s name wasn’t even picked for the POV comp, and Paul got to keep full power by winning the POV and replacing Josh with Cody after a little blow up from Josh…
A list ditch effort to drop some bombs on his fellow house guests wasn’t enough to keep Cody in the game and he was evicted from the house on a 7-3 vote.
After he was a evicted, Julie dropped another bomb on us by revealing that after next week’s eviction, the evicted house guests (Cameron, Jillian, Cody, and whoever gets evicted in week 4), will battle to get back in the house. BUT the current house guests will also get a chance to BLOCK their return. Not sure how, don’t know the details yet, but next week is going to be GOOD. Get your popcorn ready!
I had a chance to ask Cody 5 questions after his eviction last night. Read them below:
Nominating a third of the houseguests.
Oh yeah, I saw it once we were trying to target Alex and everything. I could see how big of a coward the couples were and how much more I respected a few of the people on the outside. It’s difficult to say whether I would have jumped in with the outsiders’ right way, because Megan was in that group and I don’t like Megan. If Megan wasn’t such a quitter, my plan would have been totally on point, everyone would have been happy that I got her out of the house then I would have been standing by for my next HOH. But since Megan was part of the outsiders, there’s no way I would be around them at all.
The first thing that happened when Paul came walking in is they all ran up to him and hugged him like he was Elvis rising from the dead. It’s the follower thing, they’re afraid to go after him because he’s got this following. They think if Paul likes them, then they’re gonna get Paul’s followers. They’re not thinking about the game, they’re thinking about the outside and if people are going to like them or hate them, or whose followers they can get. So they stick to Paul. They’re just groupies of Paul.
Paul – he’s going to steamroll through everyone. Paul is even smart enough to realize to not get emotionally attached to any of these people. He’s keeping a bit of an emotional distance and only turns to the group to tell some funny stories, and then they latch on, and when they latch on a little too close then Paul keeps his distance then he can make a move on that person. He’s a smart player, he’s going to game the game the whole time.
The craziest thing is, I will probably try and cut a deal with Paul because I want to get Mark and anyone around Mark out of the house.
Tune in to Big Brother on Global Wednesdays/Thursdays at 8pm EST, and Sundays at 9pm EST!
